OM Kavi completed his engineering from the A.V.C College of Engineering and ME (Avionics) from Anna University, Chennai. Currently he is working as an Assistant professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering, MIT Campus, Anna University, Chennai. His Area of interest lies in UAV modeling & Simulation, Satellite communication and Avionics systems. He is an active member of team “DHAKSHA” (A Small unmanned aerial vehicle developed by his team that was utilized for various civil and military application) and has been involved in various development activities. He also promotes science and its application among all school and college students. Apart from academic activities, he is interested in Radio communication, building antennas and home brewing.
